SolSuite 2009's v9.1 includes these new Features:
• Now SolSuite's preset animation type for Microsoft Windows XP and Vista* is the "Advanced" version, with more pleasant and relaxing animation. You can switch at any time from the "Advanced" to the "Simple" mode. To do so, simply select your preference in the Animations tab of the Options dialog box. You can modify the card speed by moving the slider bar in the "Card Speed" area. This is also located in the Animations tab of the Options dialogbox
* For previous Microsoft operating systems, you can select the Advanced animations manually.
• The card speed set in the "Card Speed" area is a uniform and independent value for all PCs, and is no longer
related to hardware performance (CPU and Video Cards).
• All SolSuite sounds have been rewritten and improved. You can select or unselect each sound associated with a
SolSuite event in the "Sounds" tab of the Options dialog box.
• A new sound has been added for the Splash screen that appears at the start of SolSuite.
• Now the preset font for Microsoft Windows Vista is Segoe UI 9 point size, which is an elegant, readable font.
• Hold and exit feature is now the default method to exit SolSuite. You can change this setting in the "Hold and
Exit" area in the Dialogs tab of the Options dialog box. Hold and exit "holds" the current unfinished game forlater play.
• "Suggest Legal move when game is idle" and "Highlight cards on mouse over" features are now preset options. Youcan change these options in the "Highlights" area in the Appearance tab of the Options dialog box.
SolSuite 2009 includes the Ribbon, a graphical user interface composed of a strip across the top of the mainplaying area. Ribbon interface is a part of the new Microsoft Fluent User Interface that replaces the menus andtoolbars used since the version 2008 of SolSuite.
The Ribbon is a way to enhance usability by consolidating related commands so that they are easier to find.Commands are organized into groups and related groups are organized on tabs. One need not look through multiple
levels of hierarchical menus.
